- I'm Jimmy Novak from Pontiac, Illinois. I have a family.
The guy would have made a fabulous father and husband. It was so sad to see his family break over his feeling of duty towards them and his faith. And then to see him return a broken man who's done with religion wants to make you want to throttle something for the unfairness of it all.
"This is your heaven?" Jimmy screaming all his anger out there towards heaven was such an emotionally big and beautifully done scene. I adored the music and cut to pieces.
Oh, and he totally beats Dean at gobbling down fast food the messiest way. Hee.
Also, Misha hit it out of the park with this one. He made a terrific job of presenting two wholly different characters. One minute he's an ad salesman on the brink of death begging for his daughter's life and the next he's an unblinking, unemotional angel of the Lord. *loves on him*
- So, angels can heal their hosts. Kinda makes you wonder if demons just don't chose to do so, or if they simply can't.
- TOOTH BRUSH PORN!! If they're turning this into a regular thing, I might develop a new kink here. Damn them.
- I serve heaven, I don't serve men. And I certainly don't serve you.
I do not like brainwashed!Cas. I want the touchy-feely angel back, please.
- Bed!hair Jim/Cas. D'aww.
- I'm scaring myself.
Seeing what your addiction does to you and your body is breaking my heart, Sam. And it's just all the more painful to watch because the guy does mean well. But you just know it's gotta end bad. *clings to Sam*
I still think Sam using his wonder girl powers is hot as hell but I'm momentarily angsting over where this road may take him. *wibbles*
- I'm just tired, man.
Was anybody else struck just by how peaceful Dean looked sitting at that lake? And then the next second angry over how much they all deserve a piece of normal? Funny thing is that he never really pegged me as the fishing type. But then I realized that I really don't know who Dean would be when not a hunter. Makes you notice just how fucked up their lives really are.
Remember when our job was helping people? I guess you can't hold it against him being tired of it all. Doubting what you do has strayed too far from what you used to do. It being not enough and seeing your little brother slipping away from you just that bit farther.
And then this sliver of fear crossing Dean's face when he thought, just for a second, Sam was going to use his mojo on him about killed me dead. Oh boys. And I bet recognition of this cut the both of them to their bones. Looks like hugging out this one isn't an option, no?
- "So what's the big demon problem?"
*gulps* BUT BUT BUT!!! SAMMEH!!!
DO THEY REALLY EXPECT ME TO MAKE IT THROUGH A WHOLE WEEK FOR THE NEXT EPISODE?? *pulls hair*
Ah well, Andrew Bird concert tonight. So excited.
